100% of
the money raised is used to fund the softball program and the kids playing
in it. We rely on the support of local
businesses to defray the cost of uniforms, equipment, insurance, and other
miscellaneous costs.
The DAASC will teach, develop and enhance the skills
and
understanding of the game of softball. In furtherance of its educational
value, the DAASC shall provide supervised athletic contests and
tournaments. The contests are held for the purpose of demonstrating
hard work, self-discipline, self-sacrifice, extensive practice, cooperation
with others, and the enjoyment which can result there from. The DAASC
promotes physical fitness, competitive spirit, team play, loyalty and good
sportsmanship.
